Mainz Shares: Campaign Gains Momentum
Sharing is the new owning. The Agenda Office, in collaboration with the Mainz and Mainz-Bingen Municipal Waste Management Authority (KAW), has launched the “Mainz Shares!” campaign. The first residents of Mainz have already picked up their materials at the environmental store, because the concept is simple.
Sticker sheets, flyers, and posters are available at the Mainz Environmental Store (Steingasse 3-9). By displaying these materials in the hallway of your apartment building, you can raise awareness about the campaign among your neighbors, and you can stick the stickers on your own mailbox. These stickers show what items you have at home and would like to share. Your neighbors can do the same.
The campaign fosters a sense of community, conserves resources, helps reduce waste, and ultimately saves you money.
