New Open-House Tour for Adults at the Public Library – Anna Seghers
Starting in July 2026, the Public Library will expand its offerings to include two regular guided tours for adults. In the future, those interested will be able to choose between two informative formats that provide an initial overview of the library’s offerings and how to use its resources.
Starting in July, the “Bücherei kompakt” guided tour will take place on the third Wednesday of every month—beginning on Wednesday, July 15, 2026—from 12:30 to 1:00 p.m. This format is particularly well-suited for anyone who would like to get a quick overview during their lunch break.
In addition, every third Thursday of the month—starting on Thursday, July 16, 2026—from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., the “Library—How Does It Work?” tour will also be offered. This tour serves as an easy, introductory way to get to know the Public Library and its wide range of offerings and ways to use the library.
Both tours are open to anyone interested in the library. The meeting point for both adult tours is the service desk in the entrance area. The tours are free of charge and do not require advance registration.
The monthly guided tours for adults complement the existing tour offerings at the Anna Seghers Public Library. Further information on events and offerings can be found online.
