Weekly Market on Johannisnacht at the Hopfengarten
Due to the festivities surrounding Johannes Gutenberg’s birthday, the weekly market will take place for the last time at the Markt and Liebfrauenplatz on Tuesday, June 16, 2026. As usual, the weekly market will be moved during the “Johannisnacht” festival.
Alternatively, you’ll find a selection of stalls at the Hopfengarten from Friday, June 19, through Tuesday, June 23, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. each day.
Starting Friday, June 26, 2026, the weekly market will return to its familiar location around the cathedral.
