Road collapse: complete closure of Grabenstraße
Due to a road collapse in Grabenstraße in the Mainz-Gonsenheim district, this road must be closed to traffic from Weserstraße. Traffic will be diverted via Kurt Schumacher Straße - Elbestraße - Breite Straße.
To facilitate internal access, the one-way traffic flow on Schmiedegasse will be reversed. Whether there will be sufficient space for bicycle traffic can only be determined once the sinkhole has been opened.
Bus service will be rerouted by the MVG. Further details regarding the duration of the work can only be provided after the sinkhole has been opened, which will also reveal the cause of the road collapse.
