Business Survey Begins: Important Insights for Economic Development

The state capital of Mainz, in collaboration with L•Q•M Market Research, will soon conduct the 2026 Business Survey. The goal is to gain a better understanding of the needs and expectations of businesses in Mainz. The insights gained will help tailor economic and structural development services even more precisely to the needs and requirements of businesses and strengthen Mainz as a business location in the long term.

The survey will be conducted primarily online, though telephone interviews are also possible. All data will be treated as strictly confidential in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and used exclusively for internal purposes.

Companies can participate in the survey using an individual access code, which will be automatically mailed to them. Access is available via the website of the State Capital of Mainz at www.mainz.de/unternehmensbefragung (opens in a new tab). Even if you have not received a letter, you may still participate by providing your company name and address.

If you have any questions regarding participation, please contact Carolin Machold, Project Manager for Business Services at the Economic Development Agency (carolin.macholdstadt.mainzde), or Lukas Fried at L•Q•M Market Research (lukas.friedl-q-mde).

The City of Mainz hopes for a high participation rate and thanks you in advance for the valuable insights that will help further strengthen Mainz as a business location.
