Daycare centers
Of the total of 128 daycare centers in the state capital of Mainz (as of January 2025), 21 are Catholic, 12 are Protestant, and 61 are run by the city. Another 34 daycare centers run by other independent organizations, company-run facilities, and six parent initiatives round out the diverse range of childcare options in our city.
Mainz's daycare centers and parent initiatives offer a total of 9,199 childcare places for children aged 8 weeks to 14 years.
