Due to a potential fire hazard, electronic devices containing built-in lithium-ion batteries (e.g., smartphones, e-cigarettes, electric toothbrushes) or lithium-ion batteries themselves may no longer be dropped off at the Mainz Environmental Store. As before, these items can still be disposed of at all recycling centers, waste disposal centers, and retail stores.
