Salary

The remuneration and classification of the mayor and deputy mayors is regulated by the state ordinance on the remuneration and expense allowances of full-time municipal elected officials (Kommunal-Besoldungsverordnung).

The deputy mayor is classified in salary grade B 5. According to the State Remuneration Ordinance, this corresponds to a basic salary of €9,907.46, or €10,107.

In addition, the mayor and the deputy mayors receive an expense allowance. This is also specified in the Municipal Remuneration Ordinance.
