We are at home at the northern end of Mainz, on the Ingelheimer Aue. Here, the Rhine flows past the city for the last few kilometers before turning towards Bingen. Away from the inland vessels, there is a quiet side arm, the Wachsbleiche, our ideal rowing area.

This is where they meet – sports enthusiasts between the ages of 12 and 80. Either to circle the floodplains as a group or for individual training. What they all have in common is that they are sociable.
