SoundConnection is a group of around 50 singers who perform gospel, spirituals, and rock and pop songs with heart and passion, mostly singing a cappella and occasionally accompanied by piano or djembe. The four-part choir, under professional direction, belongs to the Protestant parish of Mainz-Hechtsheim and performs regularly at church services and events such as exhibition openings, readings, and weddings.

In addition, SoundConnection gives around three concerts a year, which attract a wide audience not only in Hechtsheim but also in the greater Mainz area. Weekly rehearsals currently take place on Mondays from 8 p.m. in the Frankenhöhe parish hall.
