We, Stadttaubenhilfe Mainz e.V., are a non-profit association and volunteer our time to improve the lives of city pigeons in the long term. That is why we are working to establish supervised pigeon lofts in Mainz. There, egg replacement, controlled feeding with species-appropriate food, and medical care can take place. This is the only animal welfare-compliant way to reduce the pigeon population in the long term. In emergencies, for example, if you find injured or sick pigeons or young birds, please contact us.
