Since joining the BDMV in 1996, the Diocesan Association of Brass Bands has been a registered association (e.V.), which is also involved in the BDMV on a national level, e.g., at the Federal Music Festival or competitions. In addition to the Diocesan Music Festival, which takes place every two years, the Diocesan Association regularly organizes training courses, workshops, and leisure activities for both young people and adults.
