We, the Mainz Lions, are part of the international Lions organization, which has almost 50,000 clubs worldwide and nearly 1.5 million members.

The global motto of this organization is: "We serve!"

It expresses our willingness as Lions to help people in need wherever we are, to contribute to the cultural development of society, and to promote understanding among peoples.
