UNICEF is the United Nations (UN) Children's Fund. Every child in the world has the right to a childhood. As the UNICEF group in Mainz, we volunteer our time to help make this right a reality.

We provide information about the situation of disadvantaged children worldwide and seek dialogue with the public through discussions, information stands, school visits, and exhibitions. We collect donations through creative campaigns—an important contribution, as UNICEF is financed exclusively by voluntary contributions. We

also sell the popular UNICEF greeting cards in our office, at markets, in pharmacies, and other stores.
