Redesign of green space E 50 and Anemonenweg, Ebersheim
Brief description
The green space between the residential areas "An der Wiese" and "Anemonenweg" in Mainz-Ebersheim has been redesigned. The playground equipment at the "Anemonenweg" playground has been dismantled. Children and young people decided what new equipment would be installed there.
Citizen participation
The toddler area was already included on July 7, 2016. Children and young people in the vicinity of the "Anemonenweg" playground were invited to participate on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at 5 p.m. Two designs were presented there, and the children and young people were allowed to vote for their favorite.

Planned planning and implementation period
Both playgrounds have been open again since January 2025, and children and young people can play there.
Expected costs
A total of €650,000 is available for the entire green space.
Current processing status (February 14, 2025)
On July 19, 2023, the participation meeting took place on site, with 28 children and young people taking part. With 18 votes, the children and young people chose the "climbing rock" design as their favorite.
Construction work on site began in June 2024. The playground has been open again since January 2025.
