The Kapellenhof winery in Selzen has been awarded the 2015 Prize for Architecture, Parks, and Gardens. The listed ensemble, whose roots date back to the 14th century, with an Art Nouveau villa from 1901 featuring original windows and doors, its own wine shop, and a garden modeled on English landscape gardens and maintained by the Schätzel family, offers an experience for all the senses in conjunction with the Michelin-starred restaurant "Kaupers." The sunny garden, wine restaurant, and wine cellar are perfect places to enjoy the best of Rheinhessen wine.
