Smiling against (traffic jam) frustration
It has been on the road for some time now and finally has the right look: the new special truck we use to clean urban drains (or gullies). Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, this high-end vehicle ensures that the work can be done as effectively and, above all, as quickly as possible. Because while cleaning is in progress, the truck is stationary—and so is the traffic behind it.
So (traffic jam) frustration seemed pre-programmed.
Or maybe not. Because the truck pretty much speaks for itself. In other words, its crew isn't just in the cab, they're also prominently displayed in large photos on both sides of the vehicle. Advertising (for themselves) that gets noticed. "We are approached more often and photos are taken," report the traveling 'sympathy models'. Direct contact instead of frustration, annoyance, and complaining: Perfect!
