Process pilots

The procedural guides advise, accompany and support young people with a mental, physical or intellectual disability or the threat of a disability.

Sketch of two stick figures and several signposts.

The service is aimed at young people from birth to the age of 26, as well as their parents, foster parents, and legal guardians. Suspicion of impairment is sufficient to qualify for support from the procedural guides. A confirmed diagnosis is not required. Procedural guides offer free, voluntary, and independent support.

The process pilots...

  • help people navigate the many rules and regulations imposed by the authorities.
  • support you on your way to receiving integration assistance benefits. This means that they explain the procedure, help you with the application, and accompany you throughout the entire process until you receive the benefits.
  • provide guidance in the complex support system and help people find the right support and contact persons.
  • Refer you to other counseling centers and contact persons if necessary and mediate between the parties involved.
  • accompany you to important appointments if you wish.
