The official site plan is, for example, part of a building application. Upon request, the building authority will produce this as an extract from the city base map. The city base map is based on the official property map of the state's surveying and cadastral administration and supplements it with planning-relevant details of the city topography. We create the official site plan for a building application on a scale of 1:500, but other standard scales are also possible (see below for examples).
The building authority of the city administration of Mainz creates site plans exclusively for the urban area of the state capital Mainz (including districts).

Important information on applying for proof of ownership
When planning offices (architects) apply for a site plan with proof of ownership for a building application to be submitted, they act as authorized representatives of those responsible for the construction.
For other inquiries regarding owner information in connection with a site plan, as stipulated in § 13 (2) of the State Law on Official Surveying (LGVerm), a legitimate interest in obtaining this data must be demonstrated.
