After work and always with music – every third Tuesday of the month also in combination with a guided tour of the State Museum: The Mainz Wine Salon e.V. is made up of 20 young winemakers who offer culturally rich after-work parties in Mainz and Darmstadt. This allows them to introduce guests to high-quality wines from local vineyards in an uncomplicated setting combined with culture and food.
The various collaborations create a comprehensive offering. The young winemakers serve the wine themselves, answer questions about their wine, and thus cultivate personal contact and the wine culture of Rheinhessen. The Mainz Wine Salon, which celebrated its tenth anniversary in 2019, has been awarded the Best Of Wine Tourism Award 2020. Since 2020, the Mainz Wine Salon has been operating under the name Rheinhessen Wine Salon.
