Fire safety education
As part of our legal mandate, we offer support for fire safety education.
Due to the high volume of requests and our ongoing operations, this service is generally limited to kindergartens and schools within the Mainz metropolitan area.
Our fire safety educators provide caregivers and teachers with guidance and recommendations on planning and conducting fire safety education.
We also provide kits containing materials for fire safety education. Additionally, as a conclusion to the fire safety education program, there is the option to arrange a tour of one of the two fire stations with the preschool group or school class.
Appointments for a visit to the fire station can be made using the form below. Visiting hours are listed on the form.
Appointments should be scheduled well in advance (usually at least 6 weeks). The fire safety education and the tour are free of charge.
This form is for registering for the Mainz Fire Department’s fire safety education program—for groups from Mainz schools and daycare centers with children ages five and up.
