• Preparation of social reports in guardianship proceedings
• Collaboration with the guardianship court, guardianship associations, and professional guardians

• Further development of community-based action plans in the performance of duties under SGB VIII

Special Social Services:

• Assignment is possible within the § 35a SGB VIII Integration Assistance team, the Unaccompanied Minor Foreigners team, and the Foster Care Service
• Counseling and support for families, their children, and young people in Mainz facing difficult life situations
• Processing of benefit applications under SGB VIII (educational assistance, assistance for young adults)
• Ensuring the protection of children and adolescents at risk

Daycare Centers Department:

• Expert counseling and support in daycare centers
• Discussions on concept development and further development of quality standards
• Collaboration in the professional oversight of safety plans in daycare centers
• Insight into and involvement in child protection, particularly in proceedings under Section 47 of SGB VIII and in collaboration with InsoFa counseling
• Obtaining an operating license for a daycare center
• Staffing of daycare centers with regard to age structures and personnel
• Parent engagement in daycare centers
• Insight into personnel management and team organization in daycare centers

• A state-accredited bachelor's degree program with practical content
