The task of Kommunale Abfallwirtschaft Mainz und Mainz-Bingen AöR (KAW for short) is the disposal of household waste (residual waste, organic waste, and paper bins), bulky waste, and household-like waste from other areas (commerce, industry, trade, etc.), as well as the operation of disposal centers and recycling centers.
