The department provides advice on social assistance, basic income support and assistance with living expenses. It also processes education and participation benefits as well as funeral costs. In addition, benefits are granted in accordance with the Asylum Seekers Benefits Act. Initial advice and contact can be made via the information point of the social welfare office.
