This department is responsible for personnel matters for the Office for Social Services and the Office for Youth and Family Affairs (excluding daycare facilities). Furthermore, the department handles organizational matters for both offices, processes incoming and outgoing mail, and manages company cars. In addition to property management for the Stadthaus building, Lauteren wing, occupational safety and employee health are also among the department's responsibilities. As part of its committee work, the department manages the Social Committee and the Youth Welfare Committee.
