In 2012, soloist and choreographer Stéphen Delattre and his business partner Martin Opelt founded the Delattre Dance Company, which is based at the Mainzer Kammerspiele.  Their goal is to create innovative dance by combining forces through a diverse mix of different cultures, genres, and extraordinary artists. Together with the dancers, they develop new choreographic patterns that thematically emphasize the importance of interpersonal relationships. 

Now an integral part of the Mainz dance scene, the Delattre Dance Company presents around twenty highly successful performances each year.
