16th Weisenau Family Festival on May 9, 2026
On Saturday, May 9, a colorful family festival for young and old will take place on the grounds of the Schiller School Weisenau. From 14:00 to 17:00, visitors can expect a varied program with numerous hands-on activities, culinary delights and a diverse stage program.
The festival is geared especially toward families and children and offers plenty of highlights: In addition to a bouncy castle, creative activities and face painting provide entertainment. There’s plenty of music on the program as well—including a performance by the Kids&Grufti band. The program is rounded out by other activities that invite visitors to join in and linger.
Refreshments are also available: in addition to hot dogs, there will be cotton candy and popcorn—classic favorites for guests of all ages.
The family festival is organized in cooperation with various local institutions and associations and is all about community, connection, and cultural diversity in the Weisenau neighborhood.
Please note: In the event of persistent rain, the event will unfortunately have to be canceled.
Everyone interested is warmly invited to spend a cheerful afternoon together.
