Since April 2023, Leonidas Lazaridis and Philip Vogel have been offering fresh, regional cuisine at the Kupferberg Mainz restaurant. The two managing directors are the founders of the Mainz-based Eulchen Brewery and have been running the Eulchen Brewery Taproom "next door" for several years. "Over the past ten years, we have gained a wealth of experience in reviving historic locations in Mainz.

The Kupferberg is our passion project, a long-forgotten gem that we want to restore to its former glory piece by piece," says Eulchen managing director Philip Vogel. And they have already succeeded: Fresh draft beer and delicious pizza, prepared with Eulchen beer yeast, taste especially good after a climb up the Kupferberg.

The Kupferberg Mainz restaurant offers a somewhat "lighter" menu, where vegetables take center stage and are the main ingredient in many dishes, such as the eggplant schnitzel with horseradish mayonnaise and potato salad. Meat is also served creatively, but the main thing is that it is fresh, regional, and seasonal!

The dining experience is rounded off by a large selection of local and regional wines, beers, and schnapps. All of this can be enjoyed in the beautiful surroundings – whether indoors or outdoors in the lovely garden with a view of the historic 19th-century sparkling wine cellar building.
