The department manages personnel operations and ensures the technical operation of the control center. It regularly checks and maintains the telephone, radio and computer systems. It also maintains important operational data and alarms, e.g. from fire alarm systems, fault alarm systems or weather warnings. In the event of major emergencies, a backup control center can also be put into operation.
