Registry, legal and regulatory office
The office comprises five departments:
• The Legal Affairs Department serves as the point of contact for municipal agencies on legal matters and represents the city in court proceedings.
• The Municipal Legal Committee rules on appeals.
• The Insurance Unit handles insurance coverage for the state capital and manages claims.
• The Public Order Office serves as the general public order authority and performs a wide range of duties. These include commercial law, assemblies, and events.
