If a person disagrees with a decision (administrative act) issued by the city administration, the Municipal Law Committee reviews it again. The Municipal Law Committee is completely independent in this process.
The appeal process, which generally involves a fee, typically proceeds as follows: after an oral hearing, the Municipal Law Committee (consisting of a chairperson and two members) decides on the appeal. You may subsequently file a lawsuit against this decision with the Administrative Court or the Social Court.
