Team 1 and Team 2 are responsible for key tasks relating to preventive fire protection. These include providing fire protection expertise in building permit procedures and in accordance with the Federal Immission Control Act, as well as conducting hazard prevention inspections in specific properties. They also coordinate fire safety watches in places of assembly, inspect and approve fire protection equipment, and prepare statements on safety concepts for large events. This is supplemented by fire safety education and prevention.
