This division is responsible for key tasks related to preventive fire protection. These include providing fire safety assessments during the building permit process and in accordance with the Federal Immission Control Act, as well as conducting fire safety inspections at specific facilities. It also coordinates fire safety patrols in public gathering places, inspects and approves fire safety equipment, and prepares statements on safety concepts for large-scale events. Additional responsibilities include fire safety education and prevention.
