For important administrative matters, it is recommended that you call the government hotline at 115 to check whether the local administration office is open as scheduled. Foreign citizens
can only register at the Citizens' Office, Kaiserstrasse 3-5.

In the event of high public demand, the local administration office may close early.
Experience has shown that the local administration office is busiest on service afternoons. You can expect shorter waiting times on service mornings.
