Sexual harassment in the workplace
Sexual harassment in the workplace has nothing to do with sexuality, nothing to do with flirting, nothing to do with eroticism and nothing to do with a mutually desired relationship. Rather, sexual harassment is a form of sexualized violence
violence, which in the vast majority of cases is directed against women and in the vast majority of cases is perpetrated by men.
Sexual harassment in the workplace is everywhere - even in the state capital Mainz
The General Equal Treatment Act (AGG) is clear: sexual harassment in the workplace constitutes discrimination and is a clear violation of labor and employment law obligations. Every employer must take action to effectively protect employees in public authorities and companies from harassment.
