The department audits the annual and consolidated financial statements of the City of Mainz, as well as administrative business transactions of all kinds. In addition, the employees carry out accompanying audits of measures, contract award audits, accounting audits and visa audits of construction invoices for investment and maintenance measures of the City of Mainz and its own companies.
