A new venue in Mainz: the wine bar at the Favorite Parkhotel combines wine, indulgence, and design. 550 square meters of space for a relaxing stay. Whether you want to enjoy a Sassiscaia from the handwritten rare wine list at the bar or sink into the comfortable upholstered furniture. The rustic "Kabinett" and the lavender-blue "Wintergarten" offer space for private events and tastings. The extensive wine selection, almost 400 from all over the world, including many by the glass, allows for a new and different wine experience every evening of the year. In addition, the bartender prepares classic cocktails from the extensive bar menu, which also includes various brandies, spirits, and other digestifs.

If you feel peckish while enjoying your wine, you're also in good hands here. The menu offers bar food of international standard. None other than Favorite star chef Philipp Stein is behind the menu. He is supported by his own kitchen crew responsible for the wine bar. The team also includes a wine bar manager and restaurant manager. Smaller dishes, such as the wine bar platter, pizzas, tarte flambée, and salads, are available from 4 p.m. to midnight.

Guests can choose from the à la carte menu from 6 p.m. onwards. For example, between beef tartare with leaf salads or, for a more Mediterranean option, Marseille bouillabaisse and rouille croutons, as well as many other appetizers. The menu is complemented by meat and pasta dishes, as well as ham and salami from the curing cabinet, sliced wafer-thin to accompany wine.
