The Central Services department is responsible for central issues relating to general administration, such as mobility management for Mainz City Council. This includes topics such as job tickets, parking space management, MVG-MeinRad, Book-n-drive, and the official recognition of private vehicles, as well as clarifying fundamental issues relating to the procurement of office equipment.
This department is also responsible for coordinating and issuing circulars, service agreements, and service instructions, granting powers of authority, sealing powers, etc.
This department also includes the courier service, the in-house printing shop, the main registry, and the reception of the Große Bleiche town hall. This is where analog and digital incoming and outgoing mail is processed centrally.
The in-house printing office provides media design and printed products for the entire city administration. The main registry is responsible for the central document management of many offices.
