The department is the first point of contact for the media. It provides information on the work of the administration, prepares press releases, organizes press conferences, manages the city's official social media channels, coordinates appointments for the Lord Mayor and deputies, prepares speeches and greetings and provides support with filming permits in the city of Mainz.
