Advice as part of the solar initiative
As part of the Solar Initiative Mainz and beyond, the Rhineland-Palatinate Consumer Advice Center offers independent advice to inform homeowners about solar power systems.
Is your house fit for the sun?
How can you make the best use of the electricity generated by your own roof or balcony? Heat pumps, photovoltaics, heating, and hot water—how can these be best combined, and can I significantly increase the proportion of electricity I use myself? Is a battery storage system worthwhile? What savings can I make with a charging station for electric vehicles?
As part of a campaign, the Consumer Advice Center will advise you in writing or by telephone. In order to provide a specific assessment for your individual case, the necessary data will be collected using the relevant form (ROOF or BALCONY). Households in Mainz can participate free of charge by simply filling out the relevant form. Please fill it out and send it by email to photovoltaikvz-rlpde.

No problem, energy consultants from the Consumer Advice Center regularly offer consultation hours at the Mainz Environmental Store and the Mainz Consumer Advice Center.
All you have to do is make an appointment, preferably by phone or online. This consultation is always free of charge.
