The state capital of Mainz is a major hub for biotechnology. The University of Mainz and Mainz University Medical Center play a central role in this, as do the local biotech companies. To actively shape the future of this important cluster, the Biotechnology Coordination Office serves as a central point of contact. It brings together a wide variety of partners, including city departments, biomindz – Standortentwicklungsgesellschaft mbH, Lifescience Zentrum Mainz GmbH (LZM), universities, hospitals, and companies.
