The department draws up specifications for duty and vacation planning and handles these for the management service. It works on the organizational structure, job descriptions and business allocation plan, monitors appointments, coordinates job advertisements and selection procedures and manages the personnel of the approximately 1,000 volunteer members of the volunteer fire department as well as the children's and youth fire department.
